Payment
Payment is due at the time of service. Please review our list of accepted insurances. We also accept debit/credit card payments through our electronic payment services through Simple Practice. We also accept Flexible Savings Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account(HSA) as payment.
Private Pay
To ensure that clients have choice in care, private pay options are available. Some clients choose private pay options to allow more security of information. When using insurance payers, our company is required to provide diagnosis for treatment; which becomes a part of your health insurance record.
Minden Counseling Associates does not want the cost of therapy to deter you from receiving the care you need. For those who are experiencing financial hardships, sliding scale fee options are available upon request. Minden Counseling Associates offers payment plans, scholarships, and tax-deductible investment options to aid you or others in need.
No Surprises Act
Are you self-pay or uninsured? You are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate under the conditions of the No Surprises Act. The link in the footer will direct you to the website for more information about your rights.
Cancellations
To avoid late charges, 24-hour notice is required for cancellations or rescheduled appointments. Failure to alert the facility with-in the 24 hour time period, will result in a $50 fee. Please note that insurance is not for late fees incurred. Any balances reaching $100 will be referred to a payment plan to clear balances.
